Risky Road

Risky Road takes a simple yet original premise to make an infinite... driving game. A all terrain truck is transporting a big egg that for some reason is not secured in any way. I would imagine that the driver did not have time to tie it down for the fear of what the original owner would do if they'd catch him. Whether that original owner is an avid art collector or a big dinosaur, we don't know. The sure thing is that this imagined premise alone urged me to drive as fast as I can.

Unfortunately, there's no rush in Risky Road. Your car needs to travel over dunes of sand or ice and pass as many flags as possible before dropping the egg. On the way you will be collecting coins and bonus letters that sum up to buy different colored cars and eggs. To my disappointment, all the cars and eggs look the same. More diversity would have been nice. More background diversity would have been nice also. Considering the package, I could easily imagine running around in a jungle or meadow environment.

The game is fun, and I thoroughly enjoyed the driving, but the repetitiveness did eventually got to me. I would sure like if Ketchapp would develop this further. More backgrounds, more eggs and vehicle models. I would also love to play a mode in which you are followed by something. Hear that developers? But maybe I'm asking too much from a free-to-play.
